The Subjee Cooler works on the principle of Enhanced Evaporative Cooling.
No. A Subjee Cooler does not need Electricity / Diesel / Solar / Hybrid / Biomass to operate. It needs 3-14 litres of clean regular water to operate during Storage & no Water during the natural ripening process.
Yes, you can use water from the borewell. Make sure that the water should be clean and free from physical impurities like mud, leaf litters or garbage etc.

The temperature difference between ambient & within the Subjee Cooler ranges from 5 Degrees Celsius to 21 Degrees Celsius, depending on the season (Monsoon, Winter & Summer) & heat load kept inside the produce. The temperature ranges between 18-24 degrees Celsius during the No Load condition under a well-ventilated shed.
The cooling starts within 30 to 55 minutes post water application to the Subjee Cooler.
The Subjee Cooler works on the principle of Enhanced Evaporative Cooling. Here, water & proper ventilation conditions activate the cooling mechanism. Subjee Cooler consists of a 7 - layered membrane material which comes in contact with water & cooling starts.
The warranty on the Subjee Cooler is for 3 years (terms and conditions apply). In the first year, 2 services are free from RuKart.
The backside of the Subjee Cooler has a drainage point to which 0.5 inches connector is attached for drainage of water. 80% of applied water is drained out automatically through gravitational force. One can place a vessel under the drain connector to collect the water, or one can attach a hose pipe to remove the water. After one month of regular use, the drain water can be reused.
There is no need to apply water to the Subjee Cooler when you are not storing any produce.
No. As long as the Subjee Cooler is installed under a shed / roof & protected from the direct sunlight, the water in the Subjee Cooler will not heat in summer season due to outside high temperatures.
The drain water will start after 15 to 30 minutes of water application. It will continue till next 10 to 12 hours. Initially, flow of the drain water will be high & as time passes the flow will be reduced. The system is designed in such a way that the utilised & excess water & is drained out from the Subjee Cooler.
